Death is Wishful Fulfillment, Galaxy Journal, Assumption University, 2011

Death is wishful Fulfillment
At the end of a road
Or at the beginning of one,
We don’t know

Death is also stillness
And calm,
And shedding the woes

How can I embrace it?
With Fortitude
Love and vision

I can live today fully,
More deeply
For a death that is at once delicious
Serene and Peaceful

It will be a job well done when the calm waters cover me
Oh Death you will be the culmination
For you teach me that life is so special

I will not be missed, nor venerated,
Nor cried over,
I don’t want it so

Just to rest in peace for a
Timeless moment of
Solitude with the Eternal One
Oh Death I welcome you
